Strand Fitness Joins the

Daffodil Day Cold Plunge Challenge

Support Cancer Council this August — One Plunge at a Time

This August, Strand Fitness is proud to support the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day Cold Plunge Challenge. We’re inviting our community — members and non-members — to take the plunge and help raise life-saving funds for cancer research and support services.

Meet the SF Chill Chasers

Our official team, the SF Chill Chasers, is ready to dive into action — and we need you on board! Whether you dip in an ocean, pool, river or one of our signature ice baths, your participation matters. Together, we can help make a real difference.

Why We’re Doing This

Cancer affects too many lives — from our own members to families, friends, and loved ones. That’s why this cause is personal. As a community-first gym, Strand Fitness is more than just reps and recovery — it’s about showing up for each other. This is your chance to do something powerful (and cold!) for a cause that matters.

Every Visit Counts

Throughout August, for every VIP Recovery casual visit, we’ll donate $10 to the Cancer Council. So just by using our facilities, you’re contributing to a great cause.

“One in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every cold plunge, every donation, and every story shared brings us one step closer to change.”

Let’s Make a Splash Together

You’ve always shown up with heart. Now it’s time to show up with grit. Get involved, challenge yourself, and help us raise awareness and funds to beat cancer.
